Stephan JerschHeute ist der „Internationale Tag der Flüsse“. Die Flüsse in Deutschland sind jedoch in einem schlechten Zustand. So auch in Hamburg. Obwohl die Wasserrahmenrichtlinie den Auftrag formuliert einen guten Gewässerzustand zu erreichen, ist man in Hamburg von diesem Ziel weit entfernt.
