Another favourite image from my 30+ year photographic career. Next in my valedictory miscellany, a couple of celebrity portraits. First, Paul Heaton (of Housemartins and Beautiful South fame) enjoying a pint in the Cat and Fiddle in the Peak District. This was during a shoot for Cycling Plus because Paul was embarking on a solo tour by bike. He and his manger rode up to the Cat from Macclesfield and after a few pints down again. A lovely guy.

Glad to welcome a whole bunch of very nice people with ambitious plans for the next 4 days in #Leipzig for #Perl Toolchain Summit. This is from the "pre conference dinner" at Volkshaus on famous street Karli with many restaurants. Guests from different countries already got to enjoy good German #beer from #Saxony.
