Yesterday I checked into a hotel apartment by the sea and was distraught that there were hotel carpark road works right under my windows and the whole apartment shook and was loud and smelled of the tar being poured outside.
So I politely rang reception and explained we are an #Autistic family and are distressed by this. The manager offered us a beautiful suite in the hotel for use during road work times for free. A wonderful solution kindly given.

You know, I never understood why I was so popular in school despite being #autistic and #trans, but then I remembered that I gravitated toward Rarity after changing my avatar to her as part of a joke on EqD (like she was taking over) and now I realized how it makes sense. I share some of her traits, along with Fluttershy and Twilight. But you rarely see either of them in my avatar, or at least not fully, because Twilight is cropped out of this one. However, for me, my popularity was an accident.
Your body gives warning lights, in the forms of dehydration or hunger, being overtired, etc. There’s a whole range of physical responses that you can get useful information out of.

No one else will ever be able to reliably and consistently know what you need at all times, because they only have the outward markers of your needs, which are limited and can be misleading.
Something that I have long suspected, talking to another neurodiverse person is like speaking in another language, I often feel like I'm not even the same species as neurotypical people.
