Well that’s a wrap! There’s still a couple weeks left of “Aurora” season up north, but I’ve skipped town in search of warmer temps and spring flowers. One of the brightest and fastest aurora displays I’ve ever seen. The sky lit up over Fairbanks in February 2015 — an intense pink band crawled across the sky, leaving green in its wake. The whole show lasted only a few minutes.
