As a mastodon newbie, I am still unsure about the actual effects of the various visibility levels of toots, even after reading through several tutorials - if there is one explaining the issues I mention, please post a link.
I adress this to you because I think explaining things directly in the user frontend like #tuskydev might be a good idea, and possibly lower new users' uncertainties - for me it feels rather bad not knowing where a toot actually shows up or can be found.

Mein Erstkontakt mit AirBnB, der Reiseverhinderungs-Seite... Unterkunft ausgesucht, reserviert, email, Telefonnummer, Anzahlung per Kreditkarte. Passkopie(?!) bereitgestellt. zähneknirsch. Dann noch ein Foto?! Wozu auch immer. Aber: Geht nicht. Wieder nicht. Überhaupt nicht. Hilfe? gibt nix.
Aber mir Reservierung dann stumpf wegzunehmen, das konnte AirBnB ratzfatz. Der Upload meiner Daten zu Facebook ging bestimmt auch reibungslos. Bah, geh weg!

I hate daylight savings. Hate it. It screws with my sleep and eating and everything.
Which, is why this year, I went camping during the end of daylight savings, just to see if getting away from clocks and lights would help.
I think it worked. I certainly don't feel as bad as I normally do during this week of adjustment.

Das Problem ist seit Jahren bekannt: WhatsApp verrät, dass jemand zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt online ist. Abhilfe dagegen gibt es keine. Und so erscheint die nächste App / Tool, die / das es erlaubt, Nutzungsprofile von WhatsApp-Usern zu erstellen.
Die einzige Abhilfe: WhatsApp nicht mehr nutzen.
